How would you like to close 85% of the prospects you sit with, directly into your Personal Training Program?
What type of Fitness Business would you have if you were able to do so?
How much less stress would you have?
How much more money could you make?
How many more clients would you have the opportunity to work with, and help change their lives?
How much better talent could you afford to hire?
How much more time would you be able to free up in order to work on the business, instead of in the business?
How soon could you back out of your business, or reduce the amount you are in the trenches training clients?
How would you like to learn to sell Personal Training at a high level WITHOUT questionable sales tactics that put the integrity of you, and your Fitness Business into question? (We know there is a LOT of that out there! )
How would you like to learn a Personal Training Sales System where 100% of the sales process is based on serving the clients needs and desires, and not creating some discontented offer, sales trick, or illusion you need them to believe momentarily in order to get them to buy.
Wouldn’t you be upset if someone had an ethical sales system for achieving an 85% closing ratio, and didn’t put it on the market for you to learn it, and benefit from it?
I know that I would be!
I think to myself how valuable something like this would have been to me as a Trainer when I first started out.
It would have saved years of trial and error, and would have enabled me to grow my business a much faster rate right out the gate!
The good news: I’ve developed that Sales System!
Over the years I’ve read dozens of books, taken courses, listened to podcasts, watched sales training videos, and read many articles, to improve my closing ratios.
Yes, I did gather some great, and invaluable information from those products, which has of course helped me to formulate the Sales System in which I am presenting to you today.
However, I noticed that every educational resource that I consumed was a set of principles, and potential scenarios that one may encounter in the sales/closing process, but never gave an exact step by step process to close the sale, the same exact way, every time.
Most sales information that I came across was developed to serve a broad range of industries, but not specifically the one I was interested in, which was Personal Training Sales.
Even the material that I found, which was specifically for Personal Training Sales, still never had an exact sales/closing process, that was laid out in a step by step fashion, which could be used the exact same way on every single person I would sit with, no matter who they were, and produce exceptional results, consistently.
Again, out of all the products I’ve consumed, there was a framework, a set of principles, and maybe some scripting, but It was always left to the sales person to fill in the blank of what should be said in a specific scenario, which can leave the trainer/sales person confused as to what is best, and how to actually apply the recommendations. (Hey, if you are a skilled sales person, that type of information is great, and super useful, because a skilled sales person understands the dynamic of a sales /closing scenario and they just seem to inherently “get it.”)
However, my experience over the years of training and managing dozens of Personal Trainers, I’ve found that most great trainers struggle with the sales aspect of the fitness business. They are great with Training, but they struggle with sales! (That’s just been my observation over the years)
But wait!! It’s not your fault!
The problem is, that Universities, Training Schools, and Certification bodies where you learn the art and science of exercise program design don’t teach you how to sell!
The average Personal Trainer lasts about 2 years in the Fitness Industry, and most Fitness Businesses go under in the first year… Why is that? Is it because the Personal Trainer isn’t any good at what they do? (Possibly)
However, it’s usually not their lack of ability in providing a great training experience, and helping the client achieve great results, it’s usually because they struggle at closing the sale! (and especially struggle at being able to close the sale at a price point that allows them to be profitable!)
Most Personal Trainers get into the Fitness Industry because they have a knack for teaching fitness, and have a passion for helping people! Most didn’t decide to go into the fitness industry to execute a sales career! (C’mon, lets be real, if you wanted to get into sales, you wouldn’t have chosen the Fitness Industry!)
However, as you’ve found out, (or soon will find out) the harsh reality is, that sales is just as an important skill to have in the fitness industry as is the skills of coaching, and program design, if not more important.
Let's face it, you could be the BEST Personal Trainer the world, but if you cant persuade a prospective client to invest into you, you cant show them how great you are.
Essentially you are like gold buried in the ground. Potential Value? . . YES,. . .But only truly valuable if discovered and brought to the market.
How do you bring yourself to the market, and unleash your true value? It all starts with the sale! Without the Sale, nothing else can happen!
Hey, it's difficult to get a prospect to walk into the doors of your gym (or wherever prospects meet with you to inquire about your personal training services), so its critical to maximize your sales process to ensure you are selling the highest amount of those prospects, consistently, when they do get in front of you!
This is why having a streamlined and highly effective sales system is critical for your fitness business! (the longer you wait to incorporate a streamlined, and highly successful sales system, the more money you and your fitness business lose every month. . . Facts!)
I know that if you’ve read this far, something I’m saying resonates with you.
Maybe the business you’re building isn’t growing as fast as you had intended because you're struggling with the sales process?
Maybe your business is struggling financially because you're devaluing your service at the point of sale due to thinking you have to offer a discount to the prospect in order to close the sale?
Maybe the sales tactics you currently use leave you feeling more like a used car salesman than a fitness professional?
Or may be you’re just starting out in the fitness industry, and you want to make sure that you maximize your success right out the gate!?
I know that if you are a true fitness professional, or are on the path to be one, you are interested in learning a simple, ethical, and successful sales system that is inherently designed to sell the prospect simply by presenting what is most important to the prospect, which is their goals, needs, and desires, while being able to charge what you are worth, instead of devaluing your service by thinking you have to offer discounts to close the sale!
Are you with me still? Great, I thought so! 👊
